I did not, until this moment, know that "jazz harp" was a thing. Brussels sprouts and bacon were not on our holiday menu but may be now. Thank you for that, and for everything else! Happy Thanksgiving!

Brian, Yes, I've been playing my own jazz pieces for most of my career. Since Covid I made the decision to no longer play classical concerts but stick to my jazz and my Celtic (I also write original Celtic inspired stuff.) I had never heard of brussels sprouts and bacon either (and also had never actually eaten a single brussels sprout) until John came back from a chapter meeting with the recipe. The meeting had been catered by students from a local culinary school. We've been making them ever since and they are truly delicious. The only way, in fact, that you can get me to eat brussels sprouts :-)

Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for posting the Mad About You clip! I loved that show! Also, the can opener tip from you mom, that is also something I never would have considered. Great idea!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! There are so many funny Thanksgiving scenes from Friends and Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond etc but I think my all time favorite is that Mad About You episode. It just gets funnier and funnier as it goes. By the time they throw the turkey out the window I'm crying :-)
