The first one. It took me back to my only trip to Spain in 2003. I was there for three weeks in Barcelona, Madrid, The Alhambra, Gibraltar, Tarifa. Brought back many wonderful memories, thank you. Pegge

Thank you! I also like the Spanish overtones in the middle of the first one - currently I’m leaning more in that direction as I move forward.

Congratulations on your inherited Miata! I've had several Miatas (Miatae?); I bought my first one in 1991 (a year after they first came on the market). I loved the "open eyes" on the headlights, which they discontinued in 1998 when they started the "second generation". My favorite Miata was my 1998 in the "Evolution Orange" color. P.S. I preferred the second piece although both were beautiful.

I love “Miatae”! 😊. Mine is a ‘93 and has those “open eye” headlights. Although I currently avoid driving it at night because there’s some issue and the left headlight will, without warning, start opening and closing. It’s like the car is having a stroke 🤣. Thanks for your input on the piece!

If folks want a tiny apartment, they can just move to Japan where you can find micro-apartments measuring 95 square feet, though typical ones are 2 to 3 times larger. There’s another type with a morbid nickname—the “coffin apartment”—usually measuring 8 feet long and 4-5 feet high, with shared kitchens and baths. Not sure if there are comparable tiny houses.

I like both of these compositions. The first seems more of a melancholy meditation, while the second seems to be more purposeful, with a beginning, middle and end.

Oh my goodness, yes, England was the first place that sprang to my mind but you are right - Japan also has so much “tiny living”. I think I’d lose my marbles in one of those “coffin apartments”. Thank you for your input on the music - I’m keeping all the comments in mind as I move forward with the piece!

I love both pieces! The first one I like best, for the darker overtones in the middle.

As a whole, I like the 2nd one, even though it seems melancholy to me. But I particularly like the 1st half of the 1st one; it's dreamy. The 2nd half seems to go off somewhere else, a place not quite as comfortable for me.

I absolutely love the car! And I wish I weren't on the other side of the country from you (Texas) so I could come hear you speak.
